About Us
Humble Beginnings
We bought the property where the farm is now located in October of 2021. The land had sat vacant for over ten years and had been bought and sold many times. The land was in severe need of a thorough cleanup, but we could see its true potential and fell in love right away! Through the help of the community, family, friends and countless hours the land is starting to heal. The burnt down house, 3 abandoned campers and mountains of trash were slowly removed. We stocked the 3/4 acre pond and installed aeration to bring it back to life. We started with 7 free chickens and a herd of 7 Nigerian Dwarf & Pygmy Goats to help clear the brush and tall grass. From there we have slowly evolved into where we are today.
Free Range just tastes better!
We pride ourselves on selling the very best farm fresh, free range eggs from all of our poultry. We feed all of our many species of poultry the best feed from our local milling company, Orangeburg Milling (OMC). Our chickens, ducks, turkeys and guinea fowl free range the farm in addition to their provided feed. Our quail must however be kept in an enclosure. This allows them to forage naturally for their food and makes for overall happier, healthier animals.
ADGA Purebred Nubian Goats
We currently raise American Dairy Goat Association Purebred Nubian Dairy Goats.
Live Poultry & Hatching Eggs
We regualrly hatch our own chicks, turkey poults & guinea keets.
Our chicken breeds are all very hardy breeds of heavy egg layers and produce a wonderful and colorful variety of brown, green and blue egg layers. Common chicken breeds found on our farm consist of Rhode Island Reds, Buff Orpingtons, Barred Rock, Americauna, Australorp, Easter Eggers, Olive Eggers, Sapphire Gems, Black Sex Links, Columbian Wynadottes, Silver Laced Wynadotte, Novogens (Rhode Island Red & White Leghorn Cross), Speckled Sussex, Lavender Orpington, Lavender Americauna, Black & French Copper Marans, Legbars and many more.
We raise one breed of Heritage Turkeys here on the the farm, the Narragansett.
Our ducks consist mainly of Khaki Campbells, which are known for their hardiness and superb egg laying. We have also adopted multiple other breeds from Indian Runners, to Welsh Harlequins, Blue Swedish, Cayuga, Welsh Harlequin, Pekin and anything in between! We offer ducklings of all ages, as well as hens that are already laying.
Homemade Goods- Jams & Jellies
Current favorites consist of our Bourbon Apple Butter, Peach Maple Whiskey Jam & Strawberry Margarita. More additions are coming soon!
